Kawasaki’s luxurious bike W800 has become affordable. The company has reduced its price by Rs 1 lakh. Actually, the Kawasaki W800 was launched in the Indian market in July 2019. It was then launched in the ex-showroom price of Rs 7.99 lakh. Now the company has exposed the price of its BS6 model. The BS6 Kawasaki W800 has been listed on the website at a price of Rs 6.99 lakh. This means BS6 W800 bike is cheaper by Rs 1 lakh as compared to BS4 model.
The Kawasaki W800 is a retro-style street bike. It has round headlamps, twin-pod instrument clusters and wire-spoked wheels. The bike comes with a flat seat and twin chrome exhaust.
This bike from Kawasaki has a 773cc, fuel-injected, SOHC, air-cooled engine. This engine generates 52PS power at 6,500rpm and 62.9Nm torque at 4,800rpm. There has been no change in the power and torque figure of the updated engine, meaning they are equivalent to the BS BS4 version. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox.
Talking about the features, this bike has features like full-LED headlamps, slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS. The street bike gets telescopic fork suspension at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The wheels on both sides are 18-inches. Disc brakes have been given 320 mm in the front and 270 mm in the rear.
