The facelift model of the Honda WR-V is expected to be launched in the Indian market soon. Initially it was to be launched in April, but its launch was postponed due to the lockdown caused by the corona virus outbreak. Now the updated Honda WR-V has started arriving at the dealership, from where some pictures of it have been revealed. Arriving at the dealership, the updated car is clear that the company is preparing to launch it in the market soon.
Major changes in look
There will be many major changes in the look of the facelift model of Honda WR-V. These include a new front grille with multiple horizontal slats, new LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, revised front bumpers, new fog lamp housing, silver fox skid plates and new LED taillamps with smoked treatment.
Interior and features
Talking about the interior, the updated WR-V’s overall cabin layout remains the same. However, it will get a new touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Support. In addition, this crossover SUV will be equipped with features such as electric sunroof, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert and rear parking camera.
The Honda WR-V facelift will get BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is 1.2-liter and the diesel engine is 1.5-liter. The petrol engine produces 89 bhp and 110 Nm torque, while the diesel engine generates 99 bhp power and 200 Nm torque. A 5-speed gearbox will be standard. The company has not yet announced about the automatic gearbox.
