TVS has upgraded almost all its two-wheelers to BS6 emission norms. However, TVS Scooty Zest 110 scooters and TVS Victor bikes are not BS6 compliant at present. The company has said that it is working on the BS6 version of the Scooty Zest 110. It is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
In April, TVS released the teaser of BS6 Scooty Zest 110 and informed about its launch soon. Apart from this, the company has not revealed any further details of the updated scooter.
TVS Scooty Zest 110 is specially designed keeping in mind the women customers. Fuel injection system is expected to be available in the BS6 version of the scooter. The BS6 engine power may be slightly lower than the BS4 model. The Scooty Zest engine in BS4 version generates 7.8 bhp power at 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
How much can the price be?
The Scooty Zest 110 scooter comes in two variants, including the Mat series and the Himalayan hygge series. In BS4 version, they cost Rs 54,025 and Rs 52,525 respectively. The BS6 Scooty Zest is expected to be launched in these two variants with slightly higher prices. The price of an updated scooter can be kept as high as Rs 5-7 thousand.
Hope to get new features
Talking about design, the BS6 Scooty Zest 110 will look very much like the BS4 model. However, the updated scooter is expected to get new features such as LED headlamps, new LED daytime running lights and dual-tone seat covers. The scooter already has features like USB charger, 19-liter underseat storage and tubeless tires.
Suspension and braking
The TVS scooter will have telescopic forks in the front and hydraulic mono-shock suspension in the rear as before. Talking about braking, it will get 110 mm drum in the front and 130 mm drum brakes in the rear.
