Suzuki has launched a new bike GSX-R125. The company has just launched it in the Japanese market, where its price is 393,800 yen, that is, about 2.77 lakh rupees. The Suzuki GSX-R125 is the smallest full-faired motorcycle in the company’s portfolio.
The styling of the Suzuki GSX-R125 bike is quite aggressive. Its styling is derived from the larger bike GSX-R150 available in the international market. This small fully faired bike has a sleek full-LED headlamp, muscular fuel tank and an up-tail section with split seats.
Talking about power, this new Suzuki bike has a 124.4 cc, single-cylinder, fuel injected engine. This engine generates 14.8 bhp power at 10,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The special thing is that the weight of the bike (curb weight) is just 134 kg.
The Suzuki GSX-R125 has a digital instrument cluster, which displays speed, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, clock and gear position indicator. The bike also has features like key-laced ignition, dual channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) and alloy wheels.
Will it launch in India or not?
Suzuki in Japan sells the Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF250 and Gixxer 150 bikes found in India. If the price of the new bike GSX-R125 is made affordable, then this motorcycle definitely has the ability to do well in India as well. However, recently the Suzuki GSX-R125 is not expected to be launched in the Indian market. If it launches in India, it will compete with the KTM RC 125 in the market.
