Mercedes-Benz launched two new cars Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe and 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT R in the Indian market on Wednesday (27 May). The AMG C63 Coupe is priced at Rs 1.33 crore and the new AMG GT R is priced at Rs 2.48 crore. Both these coupe cars are the top range and high performance models of the C-Class and GT line-up in the Indian market.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 Coupe features a Panamericana grille, revised LED headlamps, and quad exhaust and diffusers at the rear. The car gets 18-inch alloy wheels. Talking about the interior, it has a 3-spoke multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel, digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system on top of the center console.
The C63 Coupe features a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine, which generates 469 bhp power and 650 Nm torque. The engine is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The car offers 6 driving modes, including Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, Race and Individual.
New Mercedes-AMG GT R
The updated AMG GT R features new LED headlights and taillights. It also has a new design exhaust and rear diffuser. Speaking of the cabin, the car comes with a new steering wheel, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The Mercedes-AMG GT R is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 577 bhp power and 700 Nm torque. The engine is equipped with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The company claims that the AMG GT R car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.6 seconds. Its top speed is 318 kilometers per hour.
