RedmiBook and Mi branded laptops may be launched in India soon. The company has not yet made an official announcement, but Xiaomi India head Manu Jain and his colleagues have started teasing the new product with #WhatsNextFromMi on their Twitter account. This shows that the company has plans to launch new laptops under both the Redmi and Mi brands. RedmiBooks and Mi Notebooks have been waiting for a long time in India. The company acquired a trademark for the RedmiBook brand in the country earlier this year.
Manu Kumar Jain and his colleagues have started posting their videos on Twitter to signal the launch of Xiaomi’s new laptops in India. The video has the #WhatsNextFromMi hashtag running.
The videos posted do not give any clear information about which product will be launched in the coming time. Nevertheless, MI brand marketing lead Sumit Sonal and Redmi business lead Sneha Tenwala are among the employees who have teased the new launches. This suggests that the company plans to launch new laptops under both the Redmi and Mi brands.
Last month, tipster Ishan Aggarwal claimed that Jain had recently informed retailers about the launch of RedmiBook and Mi notebook models in the country. However, Aggarwal said that the executive did not provide any concrete date or timeline for the launch.
Date not currently announced
