MG is going to increase its Indian product portfolio. The company will launch the MG Hector Plus 6 seater in India next month. Responding to a tweet, the company has confirmed that the car will be knocking in the Indian market next month. The MG Hector was the company’s first car in India. Fans have been waiting for its plus version for a long time. Now the company will launch the 6-seater Hector next month.
7 seater version is also awaited
The wait of 6 seater will end next month but if you have to take the 7 seater version of this car then you will have to wait a little longer. The 7-seater Hector is expected to be launched by the end of this year.
Hector Plus collides with these cars
Hector Plus will compete with Tata Gravitas in India. It will also be a cheaper alternative to the Toyota Innova Crysta. The price of this car can be reduced by about 3 lakh rupees from Innova Crysta.
Will get more space than before
The increased length of the Hector Plus has helped give it a third line seat. In its 6 seater version, there will be two Captain seats in the second line. Both these seats can be tilted to sit on the third line seat. At the same time, the second line in the 7 seater version will have a 60:40 split bench seat. This means more space will be available for those sitting in it.
Hector plus engine
Both variants of Hector Plus (6-7 seater) will get 5-seater hectare engines. This means there will also be three engine options. These include 1.5-liter turbo petrol, 1.5-liter petrol with 48V mild-hybrid and 2.0-liter diesel engine.
