Hyundai is about to bring a 7-seater model of its popular SUV, the Creta. The company has been testing the 7-seater Hyundai Creta for a long time. This new SUV can be launched under the name Hyundai Alcazar. This information has been revealed from the leaked document. The 7-seater Creta will compete with SUVs like the Mahindra XUV500, Tata Gravitas and MG Hector Plus in the Indian market
Hyundai Motor Company has filed a trademark application for the name Alcazar in India. It has been revealed from the leaked document that this application was filed on 13 April 2020. The use of this name is proposed for SUVs (sports utility vehicles). On the other hand, Hyundai does not have a model named Alcazar in the international market, ie it will be a new SUV. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the 7-seater version of Creta will be launched in the market under the name Hyundai Alcazar.
Earlier leaked photos have revealed that the 7-seat Creta will be longer than the current 5-seater model. Its design will also be slightly different from the 5-seater Creta. The 7-seater Creta (Alcazar) will get a new radiator grille with chrome inserts inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. The headlamp and fog lamp assembly will remain the same as the 5-seater Creta, while the lower air intake will be larger and the skid plate will be smaller.
