Hyundai Motor India launched the BS6 diesel model of Elantra. The BS6 Hyundai Elantra diesel is available in two variants SX MT and SX (O) AT. Their price is Rs 18.70 lakh and 20.65 lakh respectively. Apart from this, the company has also updated the price of the petrol model of BS6 Hyundai Elantra. The petrol model is now available for Rs 17.60 lakh to Rs 19.55 lakh.
Hyundai Elantra diesel model now offers a BS6 compliant 1.5-liter engine. This engine generates power of 113 bhp at 4000 rpm and 250 Nm torque at 1500-2750 rpm. The SX MT variant has a 6-speed manual and the SX (O) AT variant has a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
BS6Elantra Diesel Features
Hyundai Elantra Diesel’s SX variant features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with automatic headlamps, electric sunroof, dual zone climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push button start- with BlueLink connected car technology, cruise control and keyless entry. There are features like stop. The SX (O) variant will also get a 10-way power adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, LED headlamps, wireless phone charger, leather upholstery and front parking sensors.
Both variants of the Elantra diesel for safety have features such as 6-airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking camera and rear parking sensors.
What changed in the BS6 Elantra Petrol model?
Hyundai Elantra BS6 petrol model was launched in October 2019. Now the company has made changes in its variant and price. The company discontinued the base variant ‘S’ of Elantra Petrol, while cutting the price of other variants SX MT, SX AT and SX (O) AT. Earlier, the prices of these three variants were 18.49 lakh, 19.49 lakh and 20.39 lakh rupees respectively. Now the price of SX MT is 17.60 lakhs, the price of SX AT is 18.70 lakhs and the price of SX (O) AT is 19.55 lakhs.
