Spain’s car manufacturer Seat has introduced its first electric scooter. This scooter named SEAT MO eScooter 125 will be launched in two variants. One will be for private use, while the other will be for sharing service. The company claims that the SEAT MO eScooter 125 electric scooter is similar to a traditional 125cc scooter (powered by petrol) in terms of performance. Let us tell you about it in detail.
How far will a full charge last
The SEAT MO eScooter 125 has a 9 kW motor and 5.6 kWH battery. The battery of the scooter is removable, meaning it can be removed and charged at home. The company claims that this electric scooter will run 125 kilometers once full charged.
The eScooter 125 is also not low in terms of speed. SEAT MO claims that this electric scooter is capable of accelerating from 0 to 50 kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is 95 kilometers per hour. This electric scooter offers three riding modes (City, Sport and Eco) with reversing gear.
Looks and features
The shape of the eScooter 125 is like a traditional scooter. The round headlamp, long wind screen and asymmetrical instrument console make the design of this scooter unique. There is enough space under the scooter’s seat, in which two full size helmets can be easily placed. All its lights are LED. It has a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and geofencing technology, from which the location of the scooter can be tracked. This scooter also comes with a digital sharable key (key), allowing you to ride the scooter without giving anyone a physical key.
When will it be launched
The SEAT MO eScooter 125 is scheduled to launch in Europe in July. The SEAT company is not available in the Indian market. This scooter is unlikely to be launched in India at the moment.
