Honda Motorcycle & Scooters India launched the BS6 model of the X-Blade bike. The BS6 Honda X-Blade has been launched in two variants (single disc and double disc). Their price is 1.06 lakh and 1.11 lakh rupees respectively. Apart from the BS6 engine, it has been added with cosmetic changes and some new features. The bike is available in four color options.
The updated Honda X-Blade features a BS6 compliant 162.71cc engine with PGM-FI fuel system. This engine generates 13.7 hp power and 14.7 Nm torque. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. The company claims that the upgraded engine will give better performance and mileage than before.
New Switch and Updated Meter
The BS6 X-Blade has a new engine stop switch. Apart from this, the bike has an updated street-tech digital meter, which features such as digital clock, gear position indicator and service due indicator.
Talking about body dimensions, this Honda bike has a length of 2013 mm, width 786 mm, height 1115 mm, wheelbase 1347 mm and ground clearance 160 mm. Its seat is 582 mm long, while the seat height of the bike is 795 mm. The fuel tank capacity of the X-Blade is 12 liters.
Honda’s bike gets features such as Robo-Face LED headlamps, new dynamic graphics on the fuel tank, chunky grab rails, sharp side covers, hugger fenders, link type gear shifter, dual outlet muffler, LED tail lamps and hazard switches.
Braking and suspension
Both variants of the updated X-Blade have a 276 mm disc brake at the front. Dual disc variants get 220 mm disc brakes in the rear and 130 mm drum brakes in the rear in single disc variants. The bike is equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS). It has telescopic front and hydraulic monoshock suspension at the rear.
