Toyota is preparing to bring the CNG variant of its popular MPV Innova Crysta. The company has also started testing this variant of the Innova Crysta in India. The official launch date of this car in India has not been announced by the company yet, but according to the information, the CNG Innova could be launched in India in the third quarter of this year. That is, from July to September, this car can knock in the Indian market.
The CNG-based Innova petrol variant can be expensive from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh. However, no official information about the price has been provided by the company. The CNG model may be based on the entry-level G trim.
Special edition of Innova was launched in March
Toyota launched the special Innova model Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition in March. The Innova Crysta Leadership Edition is based on the standard Innova’s mid-model VX. Its price is 61 thousand rupees more than standard Innova VX. The exterior and interior of the Special Edition Innova Crysta have been upgraded cosmetic, due to which it is priced higher. It has only been launched in the diesel engine market.
Talking about cosmetic upgrades, the front of this special Innova gets additional chrome garnish, leadership badges around the car, new 17-inch black alloy wheels, rear spoiler and side skirts. It has been introduced in a dual-tone color option, including Wildfire Red with Black and White Pearl Crystals with Black.
