Jeep India has launched a new Limited Edition of its Compass SUV. The company has named it Compass night Eagle. With this, Jeep also celebrated the third anniversary of the Compass SUV in India. The night Eagle variant is based on the compass’s mid-spec longitude plus trim level and will only be sold in 250 units in India. Online booking of new variants has started. Its turbo-petrol variant has an initial Mumbai ex-showroom price of Rs 20.14 lakh. Which goes up to Rs 20.75 lakh for the diesel-manual variant and Rs 23.31 lakh for the diesel automatic with all wheel drive. The new Longitude Plus variant will be available with standard compass after night Eagle’s production is over.

The compass night eagle has been given special black accents both on the outside and inside. It has black inserts on the grille and window line, black 18-inch alloy wheels and black jeep badges. Talking about the interior, the dashboard will get black trim and part-leather seat upholstery. The Compass night Eagle variant is available in white, black, gray and red exterior paint shades.
The compass is based on the Night Eagle Longitude Plus trim, which means that it is quite well equipped, with Apple Car Play and Android Auto with 7.0-inch touchscreen, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, dual front airbags. , ABS, EBD and Jinone Projector Headlamps.
Jeep Compass night Eagle variant, three out of five powertrain options found in the current compass, are engine options. It will get a 1.4-liter, turbo-petrol engine generating 163 horsepower but will not get a manual gearbox but instead comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto.
A 173 horsepower generating 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine will be available with both 6-speed manual and 9-speed torque-converter, but only the automatic model will come with all-wheel drive, all other models. Will get front-wheel drive.
As has been revealed in previous reports, the compass will be introduced early next year with several mid-life updates. The exterior and interior are expected to get a lot of changes, including a larger infotainment screen and new steering wheel, among other things.
In addition to the compass facelift, Jeep is set to introduce a 7-seater ‘D-SUV’, which will arrive sometime later and will be powered by the more powerful engine of the current 2.0-liter diesel engine will be equipped.
