KTM launched the BS 6 model of the KTM 250 Duke in the Indian market. The BS6 KTM 250 Duke is priced at Rs 2.09 lakh. The price of the bike has increased by Rs 3,968 as compared to the earlier.
The BS6 KTM 250 Duke features full LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRL) and dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode. The bike comes in two new color options – Silver Metallic and Dark Galvano. Apart from these, no other major changes have been made to the 250 Duke.
What is Supermoto ABS?
Talking about Supermoto ABS mode, after this mode is activated, ABS only works on the front wheel, while the rear wheel disengages from ABS. The Supermoto ABS mode can be activated by pressing a button provided in the bike.
This KTM bike has a 248.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine generates power of 29.6 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 24Nm torque at 7,500 rpm. The 250 Duke’s competition in the market is from bikes like the Bajaj Dominar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Husqvarna 250 Twins.
