Honda is going to bring its new powerful motorcycle to the Indian market. Honda has announced to bring this powerful bike on 27 August 2020. However, the company has not yet disclosed the name of this bike and other details. Honda’s new motorcycle can be 200cc. Honda’s 200cc bike can be named Honda CB Hornet 200R.
Honda is yet to launch the BS-6 version of the CB Hornet 160R bike. The new 200 cc motorcycle Hornet 160R can come as a successor to the bike. Honda has already launched the BS6 version of its bike X-Blade. The BS6 variant is about Rs 17,000 more expensive than the BS4 model. On the basis of the new 200cc motorcycle, Honda wants to gain some stake in the fast growing 200cc plus segment.
Motorcycle can be based on CBF190
Honda has already patented the CBF190 bike in India. The new motorcycle may be based on the CBF190. There can be sharp creases around the new bike, which can be taken from the CBF190. The new motorcycle may have LED headlamps, larger fuel tank, clip-on handlebar, digital instrument console and LED tail-lamp. The CBF190 bike is powered by a 184cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, which generates power of 16.86PS and peak torque of 16.3Nm.
