Although the concept of DRL is seen more in cars and bikes, but in this scooter you will get to see DRL with triple headlight setup. The teaser shows that the company has given a sharp design to this scooter.
The maxi-scooter segment in India is still new and currently Suzuki Bergman Street is the only maxi scooter in the country and now Aprilia SXR 160 is going to give it a tough competition. The launch of this scooter in India is delayed due to COVID-19, but now with the launch of the teaser, it is believed that the company may launch it in India soon.
Talking about other elements associated with designing the Aprilia SXR 160 maxi scooter, you will find black flyscreen, wide handlebar, flat footboard, oversized seat and 12-inch alloy wheels that give it a sporty look.
The Aprilia SXR 160 will be equipped with a fully digital instrument console that offers essential readouts like speed, trip meter, odometer, fuel-efficiency, ABS status, etc. The scooter will also have a USB port and under-seat storage.
Talking about the engine and power, the Aprilia SXR 160 BS6 Norms has a 160.03 cc engine that generates maximum power of 11 Bhp and 12 Nm peak torque. The company may also launch the SXR 125 maxi-scooter in the coming times.
