Skoda Auto has launched the automatic variant of Skoda Rapid TSI on Thursday. It is powered by the new 1.0 liter TSI engine. The automatic option comes with a 6-speed torque converter unit. The automatic option will be available in variants of Rider Plus and above. Booking for the new Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI automatic variant has already started. It is being booked at a token amount of Rs 25,000. The price range (ex-showroom price) of the Skoda Rapid TSI automatic variant is between Rs 9.49 lakh and Rs 13.29 lakh.
Different variants have this much price
Delivery of the automatic variant of Skoda Rapid TSI will begin on September 18. If you talk about the ex-showroom price of different variants, then the ex-showroom price of the automatic variant of Rider Plus will be Rs. 9.49 lakhs. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the automatic variant of Ambition will be Rs 11.29 lakh. However, the automatic variants of Onyx and Style will be priced at Rs 11.49 lakh and Rs 12.99 lakh respectively. While the ex-showroom price of the automatic variant of Monte Carlo will be Rs. 13.29 lakhs.
Mileage higher than previous model
The new Skoda Rapid Automatic features a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine, which generates 109hp power at 5,000-5,500 rpm and 179Nm peak torque at 1,750-4,000 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed torque converter. Skoda says that the 2020 model is 5 percent more powerful than the previous generation model. Also, its torque output has increased by 14 per cent. In addition, the new Rapid claims a fuel efficiency of 16.24 km / l, which is 9% higher than the previous model.
The new automatic variant features Quarts Cut Projector Headlamps, Black Signature Grille, Modern Crystal Line LED, Silver Clubber Alloy Wheels, Black Décor on B-Pillar, Window Chrome Gornish. During the virtual launch, the company announced that it plans to double the number of showrooms by 2022. Also, it will enter 15 new cities in the coming time.
