Opposition parties have consistently opposed the agriculture bill. Also, some constituent parties of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Center are opposed to this agricultural bill. The Shiromani Akali Dal, a constituent party of the NDA, has opposed the agriculture bill. Harsimrat Kaur of the Akali Dal resigned as a cabinet minister on Thursday. The Shiv Sena, which has now quit the NDA, has also targeted the Modi government at the Center over the issue of agriculture bills. If the Prime Minister is saying and still your minister is resigning, then of course something is wrong, said Sanjay Raut.
We did not leave the NDA. So we were forced by false politics. We were both (Shiv Sena-BJP) oldest colleagues. The rest are paying guests, said Sanjay Raut.
Despite Prime Minister Modi’s clarification, the minister is resigning. First Shiv Sena and now Shiromani Akali Dal left. This means something is definitely wrong. Everyone should be taken along on the issue of farmers. It seems that the NDA no longer exists. Even today, we and the Akali Dal are together, said Sanjay Raut, attacking the ruling BJP.
Agriculture bills are now being discussed with everyone. This thing should have been done earlier. This bill should be sent to the selection committee. We will discuss this issue with Sharad Pawar. The Congress and all will take a decision together, explained Sanjay Raut.
