MG Hector Dual Delight launched!!

MG Motor entered the Indian market last year with the mid-size SUV Hector and was well received by the customers. A lot was offered in this SUV and at the same time the price it was offered was the value for money product. Seeing its popularity, MG has now decided to introduce it in a new form, which makes it an attractive option for customers.

Hector’s new model

MG Motor has introduced a dual-tone paint scheme in Hector. MG has named the new model Hector Duel Delight. The dual-tone paint scheme will be available only in the top-end Sharp (Sharp) variants and is priced at Rs 20,000 more than mono-tone colors.

Color scheme and design

There has been no change in the SUV’s look, just its color options have increased. Dual-tone color options include Glaze Red and Candy White shades. The dual-tone option gets a black finish look compared to the regular mono-tone color variants and the Pilar comes with black color, which adds to its bold look. In addition, black color has also been used in ORVMs.

The engine

There is also no change in this SUV engine. The car gets a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. This engine generates 143 hp power and 250 Nm torque. It gets a 2.0-liter diesel engine. This engine generates power of 170 hp and torque of 350 Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard on both engine options. The petrol engine also has the option of a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.


There has also been no change in the features of the car. The features found in this car are similar to the mono-tone color variants. The top-end sharp trim offers a lot of features. It gets several features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice command assist, iSmart connectivity technology which comes with around 50 features, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof. Talking about safety features, it gets features like ABS and EBD, 6 airbags, traction control system, hill hold assist and brake assist.


The Hector Duel Delight model has been launched in three variants. The 1.5L petrol hybrid MT variant of this model has been priced at Rs 16.84 lakh. At the same time, the DCT variant of this car costs Rs 17.75 lakh. However, the diesel manual transmission variant has been priced at Rs 18.08 lakh.
