A special CBI court in Lucknow today gave its verdict in the 28-year-old Babri demolition case. The court acquitted 32 accused in the case, including LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Kalyan Singh and Nritya Gopal Das.

The court ruled that the audio of the speech was not clear.
The accused in the case included several senior BJP leaders like LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and Kalyan Singh. The chargesheet included the names of a total of 49 people, 17 of whom died. LK Advani and Joshi were present at the hearing through video conferencing.
