Tata has launched the XT variant of the Dark Edition of its flagship SUV Harrier. Earlier this SUV was getting in two variants of Dark Edition XZ and XZ +, but now its XT and XT + variants will also be available. The ex-showroom price of the XT variant is Rs 16.50 lakh and the ex-showroom price in the XT + variant is Rs 17.30 lakh. That is, XT is now the cheapest variant in Dark Edition. The XT + costs Rs 21,000 more than the standard variant.
Now this SUV can be purchased in a total of 19 variants. It has been launched in diesel variants only. However, you can buy manual and automatic transmissions. The ex-showroom price of its base variant Harrier XE Diesel MT is Rs 13.84 lakhs. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the top variant Harrier XZA + Dark Edition Diesel AT is Rs 20.30 lakh.
What is special about the new Dark Edition variant?
- The Dark Edition uses dark elements such as black fox skid plate, dark tail lamps, dark front fender badges and black 17-inch alloy wheels with Atlas Black exterior paint.
- Sporty black treatment is also included inside the cabin. The Black Edition features Blackstone Matrix Dashboard, Contrast Gray Stitching, Blackstone Leather Seat and Blackstone Leather Handles for Door Pads.
- It will also get many features such as auto climate control, 8 adjustable driver seat, rear view camera, projector headlamp, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6 audio speakers. In this edition, you will have to spend 80 thousand rupees more for a panoramic sunroof.
Tata Harrier Dark Edition Engine
It has a 2.0-liter diesel engine, which generates power of 170hp and torque of 350Nm. The XZ and XZ + will also get a 6-speed automatic gearbox. At the same time, XT and XT + will only come in manual transmission.
