Isuzu Motors India is continuously upgrading its lineup to BS norms. In this series, the Japanese automaker will launch the BS-6 compliant model of the D-Max commercial pickup truck in India next week. The company will launch it in the Indian market on 14 October 2020. The curtain will also be removed from its prices on the same day. Prior to the launch announcement, the company teased the D-Max and D-Max S-Cab versions on its official website.
If you look at the teaser photo on the company’s official Twitter handle, it is known that updates can be seen in both the exterior and interior of this commercial pickup truck. Apart from this, the company has also released a new teaser video of D-Max, which gives a glimpse of a new powerful variant. However, it may be a little early to expect more changes in the BS6 version.
Its BS4 version has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel unit for power. Its engine generates a maximum power of 134 bhp and peak torque of 320Nm. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. According to reports, there will be no mechanical changes in its BS6 model. However, many reports are claiming that a 1.9-liter diesel engine can be given in it. Apart from this, automatic transmission can also be given in it.
