According to BEST, the power supply from Tata was cut off due to grid failure, which adversely affected the 360 ​​MW power supply. In some areas, power supply was restored in the evening.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had ordered an inquiry into the incident. The report of this investigation has not yet come. Meanwhile, state energy minister Nitin Raut said the possibility of sabotage or fraud could not be ruled out.
