Mercedes-Benz will launch its all-new GLE in the Indian market on 28 January. It is also the first car of the company to be launched here this year. The company is launching it in the Indian market before Auto Expo 2020. The size of the GLE is larger than before. It will get longer wheelbase. Car will come in two diesel engines
The company will launch the new GLE in two diesel engine variants. At the same time, its petrol variant will also come. The diesel engine variant of the GLE 300d is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, power 256hp and torque 500Nm. At the same time, the diesel variant of GLE 400d is 3.0-liter, whose power is 330hp and torque is 700Nm. On the other hand, the petrol variant is powered by a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder mild-hybrid engine with power 367hp and torque 500Nm. All these engines are BS6.

The car offers several features like four-zone climate control, LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, infotainment and instrumentation system with dual 12.3-inch display screen, hands-free parking, electric adjust front seat, powered tailgate. The six-cylinder variant has a six-way adjustable powered rear seat, 360 degree camera and adaptive air suspension.
Its expected ex-showroom price can start from around 75 lakh rupees. This car can compete with Audi Q7 and BMW X5 in the Indian market.
