Hero MotoCorp introduced many of its motorcycles at the Hero World 2020 held last month. Apart from introducing the Hero Xtreme 160R, the company launched its new Hero Glamor BS6, Hero Passion Pro BS6 and Hero XPulse 200 Rally Kit. However, the company did not provide any information about the launch of its Xtreme 160R. The company is preparing for the launch of its motorcycle in the Indian market. Along with this, the company has also listed the Hero Xtreme 160R on its official website.
Hero MotoCorp is going to re-enter the 160-200 cc segment in the Indian market. The company’s motorcycle will come with an aggressive designed full LED headlight with a sporty look. The Xtreme 160R will get a sporty appeal along with increased tail section and thicker exhaust. Apart from this, the smoked LED taillight will be given in the bike. Fuel tanks and side body panels will also be well integrated.
The bike will get a fully digital inverted LCD console, start switch, LED side turn indicators, side stand engine cut-off, hazard lights, grab rails, engine kill and many more.
Talking of the Spansion, the Hero Xtreme 160R will get a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear along with a 37 mm telescopic front forks. As a braking, 276 mm petal discs will be given in the front of the bike and 220 mm petal discs in the rear which will come with single-channel ABS.
In the Xtreme 160R motorcycle, the company will offer a 160 cc BS6 single cylinder engine that will come with a fuel injection system. This engine will generate 15 bhp power and 14 Nm torque. The company claims that this motorcycle takes 4.7 seconds to catch a speed of 0 to 60 kmph. When launched in the Indian market, its estimated price will be between 90,000 to 95,000 rupees.
